1. Overview

This Shipping Policy explains how FauziaCooks processes, dispatches, and delivers orders within the United Kingdom.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.


2. Order Processing Times

All products are prepared fresh. We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days, depending on order volume.

Orders are processed and dispatched on business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Orders placed after 5pm on Friday will be prepared on Monday and dispatched on Tuesday.

Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


3. Shipping Method

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Royal Mail Tracked 48, depending on the order.

Tracking information is provided by Royal Mail once your order has been dispatched. Customers may also receive delivery updates if a phone number is provided at checkout.


4. Delivery Charges

We offer free delivery on orders over £22.

For orders under £22, shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the order and will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.


5. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes begin from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed.

Royal Mail delivery estimates:

  • Tracked 24: 1–2 working days
  • Tracked 48: 2–3 working days

These are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the delivery provider or events outside our control.


6. Perishable Products

Our products are perishable food items. Some products, including date-based items, may be particularly fresh and time-sensitive.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they are available to receive deliveries and for storing products correctly upon arrival.

We are not responsible for deterioration in quality caused by missed deliveries, delays in receiving parcels, or improper storage after delivery.


7. Missed Deliveries & Delivery Preferences

If a delivery is missed, responsibility lies with the customer.

Any delivery instructions, including safe place or neighbour delivery, are made at the customer’s own risk and are handled directly by Royal Mail.

We are not liable for loss, damage, or quality issues arising from delivery preferences selected by the customer.


8. Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details at checkout.

We are not responsible for failed delivery, delays, or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

Orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer are not eligible for a refund.


9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us at fcooksltd@gmail.com with your order number and relevant photos.

All claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may require investigation with Royal Mail.

Refunds or replacements, where offered, are at our discretion following review.

We do not accept automatic liability for issues caused by the delivery provider.


10. Tracking

Tracking is provided for all orders. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates once the order has been dispatched.


11. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including courier delays, severe weather, industrial action, or peak periods.


12. Risk and Responsibility

Responsibility for the order passes to the customer upon confirmed delivery to the address provided at checkout or in accordance with any delivery instructions given to the courier.
